Well I left Ohau in 1975. And from the pictures, it has change a lot. You know they did vote in the early 1970's to be the fifty state.
However, most of these people doing all the talking are not real Hawaaiian. All they want is something for nothing.

By the time of statehood the majority of the population was from the mainland and the only choice given to the people was statehood or territory (under martial law) and was not given the choice to deny statehood which is supposed to happen thats why it is invalid that hawaii is a state.

We don't need to do that. We can just work for independence in a peaceful matter. Not resorting to fighting.

I'm sure if it was up to the native Americans they would want us to go back to Europe but that is not how it works if Hawaiians want their independence back they would have to over throw the government and thats never going to happen.

What do you mean by organize?
If I remember correctly, Native Hawaiians made a petition but it wasn't .. I think received or something like that and even a bit after the overthrow tried to get the Kingdom back. Not 100% sure since I haven't studied that much into Hawaii. But you can always ask around.

I watched the movie "North Shore" which was made in 1984. This resentment is nothing new.
But my question is, where were the Native Hawaiians when the legislature voted for statehood? Why didn't they organize?

more Chamorros need to watch this and come to realize that the upcoming Military Build Up on Guam and the CNMI will have all the negative results just portrayed.
There is no positive with the U.S. presence on any of our islands.
