Please dear god CBS, don't butcher the theme or show to death. The new version has potential but only if they do it exactly, since there's zero room for error when you're talking about one of the greatest TV shows ever made...

This has to be the baddest intro/theme to a tv show ever, and Jack Lord was sex on legs. I am dreading the re-make. The guy they picked well looks just like a guy, Jack Lord on the other hand was a 100% man.

The title sequence for this television show, and Mort Stevens' pounding, percussive theme are truly classic. Long after I got tired of the series itself, I still used to tune in just for the opening credits. Brilliant piece of work!
