@planetcave it was more like the mid 1800ʻs. 1840 to be exact and again in 1852. i donʻt dispute what you say about western influence. "THE ACTUAL HISTORY OF HAWAII" ???!!! tell me sir, where might i find such history? give me sources not dumb straw man arguments.

@wadaman808 The actual history of Hawaii is much different from the spoon-fed liberal democratic idyllic nonsense that you've been brainwashed by. Pull your head out of the taro roots and do your own research.

@waDAMan 808 The constitutional monarchy that you're referring to was drafted and implemented by western powers at the beginning of the 1800's to unify individual kingdoms (each island had its own kingdom) where people were living like complete savages up to that point in time. The constitutional part that you're referring would not have been possible without western influence.

@planetcave you obviously donʻt know what youʻre talking about. first of all Niʻihau is owned by the Robinson family not no king. second, Hawaiʻi was governed by a CONSTITUTIONAL monarchy which means the king/queen had to follow the constitution. thirdly the Greah Mahele privatized all land in Hawaiʻi. maybe you should do some research before you post dumb shit.

They already have a kingdom, it's called Nihau Island. Btw, in a monarchy (kingdom) a king owns all of the land while the people are his subjects. So one might argue that only people that have a direct lineage to King K. have rights to any of these lands. The way things work in the most backward state of the U.S. is that a few megalomaniacs will grab the prize while those crackheads on the beach keep trying to catch contaminated fish.
