Everything in this world is now being controlled by those who have the money and the power to make things happen the way they want it to happen. The laws and rules do not apply to these people because they are the ones making the laws and enforcing it. Thanks , The U.S.A. doesn't abide by the Geneva Conventions. It just gets in the way of Nation Building projects. Human Rights and Imperialist Conquering may not be compatible.

well, the laws of war would apply to mercs, but the Geneva Convention NEVER mentions mercs, because mercs were not around when it was made. So you could argue that there needs to be an update of the Geneva Convention, but, i mean... good luck! haha, you'll never get it done.
