Pink Floyd "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" Syd Barrett Tribute

Just something simple for people to put on their MySpaces, etc. This is the version from the old VHS tape of Pulse (which IMHO had much better camera angles than the new DVD). The beginning and one verse from the middle (at 6:13) had to be edited out to fit it into YouTube's 10 min. requirement. But the whole movie they showed at the concert is here since it's probably supposed to represent Syd's life (or anybody's).... This is from Earl's Court, London in October of 1994.

@beijingping lol thanks. I think a lot of Floyd fans are artistic and clever. A lot will be older too...so that expressionism may come in forms of music or writing. I just wrote a little piece for fun. Glad you appreciate it :D

This is fucking awesome! It's a special emotion see Gilmour playing this masterpiece song at his prime. Wonderful lyrics, this video should be promoted to YouTube's legendary video status.

See? syd barret died (RIP), his music is still in everybody's memories around here. Not to be mean or anything, but when rap/pop etc... singers die (still not wishing death to any of them) who's gonna remember their songs? The reason is that rappers/pop singers etc... need to come up with new songs every couple of months for their music to be listened to. I'm talking about what the pop/rap listeners and singers' life is, not mine. I can listen to Pink Floyd's music until I die.
